The better restaurants tend to fill up quickly, especially on weekends, so make your reservations as early as possible. Reserve a table at one of the New Hope or Lambertville eateries along the Delaware River and enjoy a meal with a view.

Logan Inn
Address: 10 West Ferry Street
Cuisine: American
Word of Mouth: "The dinner menu accommodates most taste buds, from a simple shrimp salad to a full course prime rib dinner. But save room for the mouth-watering desserts. The service is completely professional and friendly. As the restaurant is located in the heart of New Hope (right on Main Street), you can enjoy the sights and sounds of New Hope’s charm from any angle." -- matlack

Honey
Address: 42 Shewell Avenue, Doylestown
Cuisine: Tapas
Word of Mouth: "The tapas style means that you can try lots of different things, which is so much fun. I'm one of those people who always wishes that I could try something from everyone's plate, and Honey lets you sample a little of everything. Your waitress will guide you on the order of tasting so that you'll get spicier things toward the end. Try the soup trios or the wine trios for a nice variety. The cozy booth seating makes it a great place to have a quiet conversation." -- gingerhardwick

Tastebuds
Address: 49 West Ferry Street
Cuisine: American
Word of Mouth: "When my wife and I lived in New Hope, Tastebuds was our favorite place in town. It is a romantic and stylish blend of modern and rustic. The menu changes four times per year and each is sensitively crafted to match the season. ... The BYOB factor makes it a more regular option for those of us of more limited finances or afflicted with an addiction to fine dining beyond our means." -- ceebo

Martine's Restaurant
Address: 14 East Ferry Street
Cuisine: American
Word of Mouth: "Try the Thai mussels! And also the crab cakes. Everything is very good, the new place is beautiful, and the view of the river is lovely! It's a great and friendly place to go! Hey, if the locals eat here, it must be good!"
-- imakay

Marsha Brown's
Address: 15 South Main Street
Cuisine: American, Cajun, Creole
Word of Mouth: "The restaurant is housed in an old church, and most of the tables are on the second floor. The first floor has the bar area, a raw bar and a separate room for small private parties. ... The raw bar is high quality. I typically get a dozen steamed little neck clams, which are excellent and served in a broth. The Bucks County salad is a must. Everything from the crab cakes to the jambalaya to the steaks is wonderful." -- cmak12

Buho's Mexican Resturant
Address: 13 Klines Court, Lambertville, NJ
Cuisine: Mexican
Word of Mouth: "This friendly, intimate little Mexican restaurant is the real deal and worth a trip. ... We had attentive, bright and cheerful service and wonderful food (the Chile Rellenos I ordered was the best I've had in the tri-state area -- and I've had quite a few plates of my favorite Mexican dish), the sauce was complex and delicious. ... We brought a bottle of wine but still enjoyed the gratis margaritas, which were refreshing." -- joyinliving1

SIAM Thai Restaurant
Address: 61 North Main Street, Lambertville, NJ
Cuisine: Thai
Word of Mouth: "This restaurant serves the best Thai food I've ever had. While it does lack something in atmosphere, trust me, you won't notice that once the food comes to the table. We each had the tom kha gai. This is a particular favorite of mine, and I never imagined it tasting this good. It was perfectly spiced, with flavors complex and subtle. The chicken was cooked to perfection." -- AndieF
