Las Vegas

Most of the big casino resorts are clustered around the Strip, though there are plenty of glitzy off-campus options as well, including the Red Rock Resort (about 30 minutes off the Strip) and Green Valley Ranch Resort (just off Interstate 215). You can find good deals throughout the city, particularly if you're traveling midweek, staying Downtown or bunking in a non-casino property. Still, most visitors prefer to stay on or close to the main drag, where pricing can vary greatly, particularly if there's a large convention in town or it's a holiday week. Look for special offers on Vegas hotels at VisitLasVegas.com and Vegas.com, and be sure to visit the hotels' Web sites as well for late-breaking deals and special packages.
