Parador de Granada
Granada Spain 18009
As with some of the most popular paradors, the hotel facet of Parador de Granada can be overwhelmed by the museum aspect during the busy tourist season. If this makes service spotty, excellent access to the Palace of Alhambra makes up for it. The 15th-century convent-cum-hotel is actually part of the Alhambra. Your room may even have a view of the Generalife, the UNESCO World Heritage Site gardens. Try gazpacho Andaluz in the dining room under crystal chandeliers and a coffered ceiling. Breakfast (there's a surcharge) is served here or on the terrace.
