Hotel Casa 1800 Granada

Calle Benalua 11
Granada Spain 18010

Be prepared to walk a block or so on a pedestrian street to reach Hotel Casa 1800 Granada, as it is tucked away in the center of Granada like an authentic Moroccan riad. And as with any riad, its central courtyard provides a peaceful respite from the city. Here guests are served a complimentary afternoon tea and a for-fee (but not pricey) breakfast. The 25-room property is outfitted with crystal chandeliers, gold-leaf furnishings and plush carpets on tile floors. Although there is an elevator to the second floor, there are still a fair number of stairs to negotiate -- and that walk. But only a bit more walking will get you to the Arab Baths and Alhambra.
