Hotel Adlon Kempinski
Berlin Germany 10117
Adlon Hotel Kempinski (Unter den Linden 77) qualifies as the most famous hotel in Berlin, having been built at the site formerly occupied by the city's "Grand Hotel" -- the original Adlon. Rebuilt in 1997, it occupies a prime location adjacent to the Brandenburg Gate and just minutes on foot from the Reichstag and Holocaust Memorial. The rooms and service are tops, and the best rooms look out to the Brandenburg Gate. Its lobby cafe is a popular gathering place.
