At the far end of Ipanema Beach -- actually Leblon -- lies a goodboutique option, the Marina All Suites Hotel. Design-focused with interesting room themes like onyx and topaz, the hotel is a hip, relaxed urban oasis that is perfect for younger travelers and those who want to sample the excellent cuisine at the hotel's highly-rated Bar d'Hotel bistro every day. This was the first boutique hotel to open in Rio, and started a trend (which was eventually perfected by the slightly more upscale Portinari).
