The Hotel Windsor (next to the Princess Theatre and across from Parliament House) opened in 1881 and is now Australia's only original grand hotel, owned by the Oberoi Group. The rooms have high ceilings and excellent appointments, and there's a pillow menu featuring 10 different options. A traditional English afternoon tea is served each afternoon.
