Century Shibuya

1-19-14 Dogenzaka
Tokyo 150-0043

Located in Shibuya, Century Shibuya (Capsule Land) is a capsule hotel mostly geared for people too drunk or busy to make it back home for the night. But for the Western male traveler in Tokyo, a night in a capsule might be a fun and affordable experience. (Women are not allowed to stay at most capsule hotels, including this one.) Guests are assigned an individual capsule, long enough to fully lie down and tall enough to sit up. The capsules are stacked and lined across each floor of the hotel, with certain floors offering communal bathing, eating or lounge areas. Luggage is stored in lockers away from the capsules. The capsules contain a small television, hook-ups for electronics and reading lights.
