Relax and enjoy the scenic landscapes of eastern Canada from a comfortable train this holiday season. VIA Rail Canada is offering special Sleeper Touring class service on its Ocean train between Montreal and Halifax for travel between December 19 and January 3. This class of service is normally only available over the summer and includes all meals (served in the dining car) as well as access to the special Park Car.
Rates for this overnight journey start at $397 per person for adults, or $358 for seniors age 60 and up. These rates have been converted from Canadian dollars and are for the full service between Montreal and Halifax; lower rates are available for service between Montreal and Moncton.
